In the last 2 years of our transcription operations we felt the need to develop a software for the healthcare and legal industry to capture voice data at a minimum cost and transfer this to our processing units across India. CUBE is an application software which facilitates transfer of voice and text file via the internet.

At a minimum/basic onetime cost of acquiring a hand held digital recorder, the end end client can have his/her voice files processed at XanaduTec with no further recurring cost of data capture. We have also made the software extremely secure using the best available encryption methods. Some of its main features and workflow has been detailed below:-

CUBE Details

CUBE is well equipped to transfer audio files, processed documents on its own, via the automatic mode.

When installed at the user's Computer, CUBE automatically creates a folder with the doctor's name and places the shortcut on the desktop. This folder has an inbuilt "dictation" folder.

The doctor is required to transfer the voice file from the hand held digital recorder to the "dictation" folder. Further processes are facilitated by CUBE.

CUBE will transfer the files automatically. The same process is mirrored for administrators wherein after they have pasted processed files in respective folders for upload, CUBE will automatically transfer files.

Clinic administrators receive documents into the "transcription" folder of their computer automatically through CUBE.

CUBE-Work Flow Process

• CUBE in its automatic mode will be installed at the Doctors, Clinic Administrator, Xanadu Administrator computers.
• Doctors record his respective dictations onto the handheld recorder. Dictations are transferred to the doctor's PC through a USB port.
• Doctor copies all dictation to the "dictation" folder, which is automatically created by CUBE on his/her PC at the time of installation.
• In auto mode CUBE transfers files as and when files are pasted in the dictation folder. In the manual mode the doctor has to run CUBE and upload the files.
• Cube facilitates the transfer of dedications to the Clinic and XanaduTec administrator.
• The dictations are processed at the XanaduTec processing centre.
• XT-Admin at the centre uploads the processed and transcribed documents to the respective CUBE folders.
• CUBE facilitates the transfer of processed documents to Clinic.
• Cube administrator will receive the documents in the respective dated "transcription" folder automatically created be CUBE
• Clinic administrator gives the processed documents to the doctors via ftp site, e-mail or whichever way the clinic decides.
